Kate is from Katherine, our pointing lab, and International Champion, Simbetha’s Just A Decoy. She is an excellent hunter with a strong nose, very intelligent and a very good temperament. She ranges close and is steady on point. She easily finds birds dead or alive. With the genes from both of her parents, there is great potential in her puppies to have the traits that are sought after in hunting and competing labs.
So many of the pups from the 2015 litter grew into excellent hunters and terrific companions and so did Louie! We selfishly held on to one of her male pups, “Bob”, from the 2017 litter and he completed his training with ease and is fabulous to hunt with! What a retriever!
