Our Focus and Objectives

All of our Fox Red Labradors and German Shorthaired Pointers were conditioned and trained.  Their many years of experience found in their pedigrees and field trial competitions produced champions for us. We built on each dog’s confidence and skills which heightened their natural instincts to point, back, and retrieve. This training enabled our Fox Red Labradors and German Shorthaired Pointers to be very versatile while working on land or water, and to accomplish being a multi-purpose pointing, retrieving and “In Service” dogs. The dogs were willing to please you with their high energy and perseverance in pointing, tracking and searching to find your game; pheasant, quail, duck or deer and more.

A proper dog obedience and training program is the foundation of good behavior in all dogs. It has been said that “there are no bad dogs, only uneducated owners”. Most dogs naturally want to please their owners, but untrained dogs just don’t know how. Well trained dogs are so much healthier and happier — and so are their owners.  It is the responsibility of all dog owners to properly train their dogs.

When breeding our Fox Red Labradors and German Shorthaired Pointers, we strove to create puppies that would mature with exceptional temperaments, intelligence, bone structure and muscular build. Our sires and dams were carefully selected to not only have the strongest pedigrees to produce puppies who met and exceeded breed standards, but also had excellent dispositions and temperament, were obedient, easily trained and had a great desire to please . The puppies were born in our home and were handled and socialized with older dogs, children and adults.

In the last 20 years of our active Kennel, we had more than 20 pups be professionally trained and become handicapped assistance dogs.  That really confirmed the success of our efforts to breed the best to create exceptional puppies who become excellent adults.  Many of our buyers contacted us to purchase a replacement when their dog was aging or to get a second dog because they were so happy with the first dog they purchased from us.
