Grady developed into quite the stud! When reviewing his pedigree, you will see that Grady’s grandmother came from our Victoria and Arthur. South Shores Cinnamon & Sugar was paired with a stud whose lines are strong with Borador’s Moose –well known for producing some very fine Fox Red Labs.

They created my Charlotte, who had a terrific litter in 2013 which produced Judith, Grady and several other field trial competitors. Add to that, Grady’s sire, Gunnar, who is out of “Brickhouse” and you know there is tremendous Fox Red strength in this pedigree! Grady was a true Labrador Retriever with his short, dense coat and his otter tail. He had a clean-cut head with the broad back skull and moderate stop that lead to the kind friendly eyes that expressed his character. His face was the most expressive Labrador face! He was a very attentive and caring dog with a temperament easy to train and ready to learn, retrieve and please you. He was a very intelligent companion and was an exceptional stud to use in our breeding program. Greatly missed!
