Pete was an exceptional hunter with a very strong nose. He was a pointer that just wouldn’t quit hunting. He had a deep desire to find birds and hunted hard and strong. He ranged at a nice distance, retrieved on command and brought it to your hand. His scent abilities were astounding till the day he died.

He trained so easily and retained it all. Pete’s AKC pedigree shows lineage from a broad variety of excellent German Shorthaired Pointers. There were many incredible hunting moments with this Shorthair! He was a very good representative of the breed and he will be greatly missed.
