Bridget developed into one of the most easily trained, ready to please Labradors we have had. She conquered any water or field hunting difficulty with her heart in it!

Her father was a 4 time Grand Master Pointing Retriever & Hunting Retriever Champion. There were 32 relatives in just 6 generations of his pedigree that had achieved hunt test and/or field trial titles. His various pedigrees with all of their titles are shown below. Her mother was a Senior Hunter and had 36 Hall of Fame, Field Trial, Hunt Trial or Dual Champions shown in her 5 Generation Pedigree below.

With all of this exceptional hunting ability in her genes, we were not surprised at how well Bridget worked for us! She hunted smoothly on land and ranged close, but covered the field thoroughly. Retrieving at any distance in or out of the water and bringing all game easily to our hand was her cup of tea. Bridget hunted well with other dogs and backed and honored their points. We looked forward to every hunt with her, as well as having her asleep at our feet. Sadly, she had severe medical difficulties that ended her life early. Bridget is greatly missed! She was a very fine, hunting lady!
