The pups below are 7 weeks old.
Alana is a proven breeder of very fine Labradors! She has an excellent Labrador personality, was easy to train, is obedient and so willing to please. This was Lana’s third litter and, again, she produced some very dark, fox red pups! Lana’s coat is just as dark as her mother, Shirley! Labradors this dark are very unusual. These pups are very fine looking and have great promise to meet AKC standards and be fabulous companions or working dogs!
The sire of this litter, Alfred the Great, aka, Grady, produced some exceptional pups when he was bred with Queen Redburga in 2015 and 2018 and Kinsey in 2015. Grady has excellent conformation, a boxy build and a true Labrador temperament that is to die for! When viewing Grady’s pedigree, you will see many of the historical greats that rejuvenated the Fox Red color back in the late 80’s and early 90’s….Keepsake’s Brickhouse, Boradors’s Moose, CH Keepsake Cajun, Kelleygreen’s Sharp Shooter and Scrimshaw Placido Flamingo. If we had more free time, we should have had Grady compete in AKC shows. He is an incredible companion and very fine looking!.
Alana’s first litter was with King Edward V’s Trial By Jury, a sire that we acquired from England. They produced some very fine hunters and companion dogs. Her second litter was with Philip, an International Champion, and, again produced some very fine pups. Philip has proven to be an excellent sire of 7 different litters for us. Having won the title of International Champion in the show ring, Philip’s genes really added the dense bones, boxy build, square head, otter tail and smooth conformation to his offspring. These pups have developed into true hunters working dogs and excellent Labrador companions.
There is great promise in these pups to be gorgeous and easy to train just like their parents! We are excited to see how this litter with Lana and Grady will develop!
