Raven
Raven, a black female Labrador, was born in my home from the Shirley and Decoy litter of 2011. Although she didn’t live with us, Raven was on loan to us for a breeding with our stud, Philip. Their litter was born in our home on April 23, 2013 and she was a great mother to her pups. Raven lived with her owners on a farm, loved water, retrieving and helped with their horses. She was a very attentive Labrador and she had a kind, friendly look in her eyes that is a true Labrador trait. Her coat was dense and shiny like her father’s, with an otter tail that really enabled her to maneuver in the water. She was very disciplined and really wanted to please her owners, their kids and grandchildren. Raven died a sudden and tragic death at age 4, when she was struck by a speeding car near her home. I had planned future breedings of excellent AKC, British Labrador traits with Raven that will not occur. Raven will always be greatly missed!
