Being a hard-working hunter in the field and easily retrieving from the water, Clare was rewarding to hunt with.  She worked well with other dogs in the field. When it came to breeding, she produced excellent pups for us that were a very good examples of the dark, Fox Red Labrador Retriever. We kept Shirley and Henry out of her litter in 2007 with Gunnar and we are thrilled they have been with us at Pheasant Ridge Ranch.

Clare did not be have any more pups, but we are glad we kept her daughter, Shirley to continue the genes in this strong, historical pedigree of Fox Red Labs.  Clare’s genes continue thru Shirley to  Alana and the pups she has had. An amazing female, Clare was for us!
