This is the second litter from two of my dogs that are such excellent representatives of the Labrador Retriever breed. The sire, Philip, was an International Champion and his dad was a full Champion Fox Red Labrador. We have used Philip as stud to six different females in our kennel over the years. His genetics are strong and have blended nicely with each of the dams. His pups have been outstanding. When reviewing Judith’s pedigree, you will see the names of some the VIP founding labradors that instigated the return of the fox red lab color to the show ring. This is Judith’s second litter with Philip as the stud. Such dark fox red— very fine looking pups! This litter has got the same genes as the puppies from their first litter (click here). Knowing how the pups from their 2017 litter grew into gorgeous, boxy, dark, fox red labs made it easy to repeat this very fine breeding.
